4.When the batteries are fully charged, the light turns off. To charge your batteries again, unplug the AC power cord, then plug it back in.

Note:

Replace the batteries with new Ni-MH batteries if the charger light stays on for more than 240 minutes or if the charger light flashes for more than half an hour.

5.After the light goes off, unplug the charger. To avoid overcharging, unplug the charger as soon as possible after the light goes off.

6.Allow the batteries cool, then remove them from the charger.

w Warning:

Batteries are very hot (approximately 65°C) during and just after charging. Let the batteries cool for one hour before handling.

7.Before storing the charger, disconnect the AC power cord from the charger and remove the batteries.

Installing the batteries

Before installing the batteries, be sure to read the safety instructions outlined in “When using the charger and batteries” on page 5.

Make sure that the camera is off, and follow the steps below

to install or replace the batteries.

1.Turn the camera upside down with the lens facing you. Hold down the battery cover release button and slide the battery cover as shown below.
