Replacing an Ink Cartridge
The printer’s indicator lights will inform yo u as des cribed
below when it is time to obtain a replacement ink cartridge and
when it is time to replace an empty cartridge.
Note:
If you need to replace an ink cartridge when the
B and A lights are
off, see “Ink Cartridge Problems” on page 8-34.
EPSON recommends the use of genuine EPSON ink cartridges.
Other products not manufactured by EPSON may cause
damage to your printer not covered by EPSON’s warranties.
When the
B ink out light is
flashing obtain a replacement black ink cartridge
(S020093).
on replace the empty black ink cartri dge.
When the
A ink out light is
flashing obtain a replacement color ink cartridge
(S020110).
on replace the empty color ink cartrid ge.
Note:
If the ink of one cartridge runs out, you cannot continue printing
until you replace it, even if the other ink cartridge still contains ink.
