Cause What to do
Your printer is not selected in
your software. Select your printer in the printer setup
section of your software.
The interface cable does not
meet both the printer and
computer requirements.
Use a printer cable that meets the
requirements shown under “System
Requirements“ on page 1-4.
Your computer is not 100%
IBM® AT compatible. Select Use Print Manager for this port
in the Queue Setup window. To access
this window, click the EPSON Spool
Manager4 icon in the EPSON folder
(Windows 95) or double-click this icon
in the EPSON program group
(Windows 3.1), and select Setup from
the Queue menu.
Your computer system’s
memory is too small to
handle the volume of data in
your document.
Try reducing the image resolution o f
your document in your image-editing
software.
Install more memory in your computer
if you can.
Select lower resolution or fewer colors
for your display setting as described
below.
For Windows 95, choose a lower
resolution setting as the Color Palette
setting. To access the Color Palette,
click Start, point to Settings, and
choose Control Panel . Then
double-click the Display icon and click
the Settings tab. For detailed

your Windows 95 user’s guide.
