4. Open the ink cartridge packages. Next, remove the yellow

tape seals only from each cartridge as shown below.

cCaution:

You must remove the yellow tape seals from the

cartridges. If you attempt to print using a cartridge

with the yellow tape seal still attached, the cartridge

may become unusable. It’s OK if the yellow tape does

not completely tear off along the dotted line.

Do not remove the white portion of the tape seal from

the top of the cartridge; otherwise, the cartridge may

become clogged and you cannot print with it.

Do not remove the tape seal from the bottom of the

cartridge; otherwise, ink will leak.
