5. Select your printer icon in the EPSON Printer Utility Setup

dialog box. Click OK. The installation program b egins

copying the printer software files.

6. When the installation is complete, click OK to exit the

installation program.

The installation program automatically selects this printer as

the default printer for Windows applications.

Before using the printer software, be sure to read the README

file located in the EPSON group. For information o n opening

and using the printer driver, see “Printing With Windows” in

Chapter 3, and Chapter 4, “Using the Printer Software for

Windows” for using the utilities and further information on the

printer driver.

Operation 8-8 The P power light is on but nothing prints. Nothing prints and the control panel lights are on or flashing. The printer sounds as though it is printing, but nothing prints. The printer operation check prints well, but nothing prints from within an application program. 8-10 Color documents print out in black and white. Printing starts too high or too low on the page.
