your application are
incorrect.
Adjust the printer se tt i ngs within your
application and print again.
If your Macintosh has only one serial
port, choose Chooser from the Apple
menu and select the modem port.
The interface cable is not
connected properly. Check that the cable is securely
connected to the printer and the
computer.
If your Macintosh has a built-in
modem, connect the interface cable to
the Macintosh’s printer port.
An unknown problem has
occurred. Disconnect the interface cable from the
computer; then try the printer
operation check described on page 8-4.

The print head moved to the ink cartridge replacement

position unexpectedly.

Cause What to do
The
R cleaning button was
pressed while the
B or
A
light was flashing or on.
One or both of the ink cartridges is
low or out of ink. Replace the ink
cartridges as described on page 7-2.

The New Hardware Found screen appears even though the

printer software has already been installed.

Cause What to do
This error may occur when
using Windows 95. Click the Do not install a driver
(Windows will not prompt you
again) button; then click OK.
