6.7 ABx Error Codes

6.7.1 Multi-tag Error Codes

The LRP2000 returns an error if it encounters a fault during operation. The table below lists the possible

error codes in hexadecimal format.

Additionally there are internal DSP errors, F1H through F5H, for use by Escort Memory Systems technical

support.

6.7.2 ABx Standard Error Codes

ABxS error codes are returned in the LSB of the second word passed to the host. The format of the error

response is shown below.

Example

A Block Write fail error message would appear as:

AAFF 0006 FFFFH.

Error Code Description

04H Fill operation has failed

05H Block Read has failed

06H Block Write has failed

07H Block Write security error

08H Search Tag operation failed

21H Input command does not match pre-defined format (syntax error)

3DH Unknown tag type

3EH Command not supp orted by current tag type

80H Antenna failure
