Die Materialien mancher Gebäude lassen sich nicht leicht von den Signalen durchdringen. Die Signale dringen am besten durch Gebäude aus Holz, während Beton- und Steingebäude im Allgemeinen Signale blockieren. Wenn Sie sich in einem Gebäude befinden und ein oder mehrere Stockwerke über sich haben, kann das Signal in der Stärke ebenfalls negativ beeinflusst werden. Stellen Sie in diesem Fall sich und besonders die Radioantenne während des Empfangs so nahe wie möglich an ein Fenster.

Auf der nächsten Seite befindet sich eine Liste der Kurzwellenbänder, die zur internationalen Kurzwellenübertragung verwendet werden, zusam- men mit den entsprechenden Frequenzen.
