1.Inserte las baterías o conecte el adaptador de CA incluido.

2.Coloque el selector "DX/LOCAL" en la posición "DX" (lado izquierdo del radio).

3.Coloque el interruptor "SSB" en la posición "OFF" (lado derecho del radio).

4.Extienda completamente la antena telescópica.

5.Con el radio apagado, oprima y suelte una vez el botón "AM".

6.Inmediatamente, oprima y suelte el botón "STEP". "10KHz" aparecerá en el lado derecho de la pantalla y desaparecerá en unos pocos segundos. (Vea la página 108 para más información acerca de este procedimiento).
