ACCENSIONE E SPEGNIMENTO DELLA RADIO

Premere il pulsante ON/OFF.

ASCOLTO DELLE STAZIONI AM LOCALI

1.Sulla G4000A, la banda AM ad ampiezza modulata è detta “medium wave” o ad onde medie. Pertanto, quando si ascoltano trasmissioni AM, il display della radio visualizza le lettere “MW”.

2.Premere il pulsante ON/OFF per accendere la radio.

3.Premere svariate volte il pulsante AM finché non appare la sigla MW al centro del display.

4.Se il display visualizza la dicitura “STEP”, premere il pulsante omonimo per scegliere la spaziatura di banda da 10 KHz.

5.Sintonizzarsi automaticamente premendo il pulsante AUTO TUNING [sintonia automatica]. La radio si sintonizza automaticamente con

le emittenti. La frequenza aumenta premendo e rilasciando rapidamente AUTO TUNING e si riduce premendo e rilasciando lentamente il pulsante.

6.Sintonizzarsi manualmente usando i pulsanti TUNING [sintonia].

USO DELL'INTERRUTTORE WIDE/NARROW

(lato sinistro della radio)

Conviene sperimentare personalmente la differenza, guidati dalle proprie orecchie. WIDE [larga] produce la migliore fedeltà audio; NARROW [stretta] riduce al minimo le interferenze prodotte da altre stazioni circonvicine. Questo interruttore viene usato per l'ascolto AM, ad onde corte e ad onde lunghe.

1.Premere il pulsante FM.

2.Sintonizzarsi automaticamente premendo il pulsante AUTO TUNING. La radio si sintonizza automaticamente con le emittenti. La frequenza aumenta premendo e rilasciando rapidamente AUTO TUNING e si riduce premendo e rilasciando lentamente il pulsante.

3.Sintonizzarsi manualmente usando i pulsanti

TUNING.

USO DELL'INTERRUTTORE STEREO/MONO

(LATO SINISTRO DELLA RADIO)

Per ottenere una vera riproduzione stereofonica in FM, selezionare STEREO quando si usano cuffie o auricolari. Quando si seleziona STEREO e la trasmis- sione è stereofonica, due cerchi appaiono sopra ed a destra della frequenza visualizzata sul display. Usare la posizione MONO ogni volta che si ottiene un ricezione scadente o marginale.

USO DELL'INTERRUTTORE TONE

Bisogna sperimentare la differenza, guidati dalle proprie orecchie e decidere se si preferisce l'impostazione HIGH o LOW [tono alto o basso].

IMMISSIONE DIRETTA DELLA FREQUENZA

Quando si conosce esattamente la frequenza di emissione della stazione desiderata, immetterla direttamente tramite la tastiera e premere subito il pulsante FREQU./METER [frequenza/metri].

La pressione del pulsante FREQU./METER finalizza l'immissione. Nel caso delle frequenza FM, non mancare di indicare il punto decimale. E' possibile indicare qualsiasi frequenza, indipendentemente dal tipo di frequenza correntemente sintonizzata. Per es., è possibile immettere una frequenza FM anche quando si sta ascoltando un trasmissione ad onde corte.

ESEMPIO DI STAZIONE AM: per sintonizzarsi sulla frequenza di 810 kilohertz in banda AM, premere 8 1 0 e poi il pulsante FREQU./METER.

ESEMPIO DI STAZIONE FM: per sintonizzarsi sulla frequenza di 105.7 megahertz in banda FM, premere 1 0 5 . 7 e poi il pulsante FREQU./METER. Non mancare di includere il punto decimale nelle frequenze FM.

ESEMPIO DI STAZIONE AD ONDE CORTE: per sintonizzarsi sulla frequenza di 5975 kilohertz nella banda ad onde corte da 49 metri, premere 5975 e poi il pulsante FREQU./METER.
