5 OPERATION WITH EKB 500 KEYBOARD

The following chapter describes the EPTZ 100 operation with EKB 500 keyboard (with firmware 1.5 or higher).

EPTZ 100 is optimized for protocol type EVF-2 of EKB 500 keyboard. Basic communication settings for EKB 500 are described in APPENDIX A. For further details, please refer to the EKB 500 user manual.

The following operating elements are available for EPTZ 100 PTZ control:

General key description:

IIRIIS + // --::	manual iris control, + opens iris, - closes iris
FOCUS F.. // N..::	manual focus, F. TELE; N. WIDE
ZOOM IIN // OUT:	zoom keys, same function as joystick rotation, IN = TELE, OUT = WIDE
POSIITIION:	start and save positions
TOUR:	start preset tours and pattern tours
A..PAN:	autopan, start and save automatic pan operation
HOME:	go to home position (preset position 1)
F4:	remote switching of EPTZ 100 output relay
MENU::	opens EPTZ 100 OSD setup menu
SHIIFT:	switch key for second key level (depending on function)
