pBurst Mode (Continuous Shooting)

Use burst mode to capture motion in a series of pictures.

1Choose a burst mode.

Press the p button. The burst mode changes each time the button is

pressed.

lThe camera takes up to 33 pictures while the shutter button is pressed. Image sizes over 4are

nThe camera takes pictures while the shutter button is pressed. Shooting ends when the shutter (long period) button is released or memory is full. To view pictures as they are taken, use the post-shot assist

window (pg. 18). Not available in C, B, or SP (X) mode.

Each time the shutter-release button is pressed, the camera takes three shots: one using the me-

otered value for exposure, the second overexposed by the amount selected for JBRACKETING (bracketing) in the shooting menu (pg. 86), and the third underexposed by the same amount (the camera may

not be able to use the selected bracketing increment if the amount of over- or under-exposure exceeds the limits of the exposure metering system). Available in P, S, M, and C modes only.

pThe camera takes up to three pictures while the shutter button is pressed. Available in all shoot- (top 3) ing modes except Cand SP (X).

OFF Burst mode off. One picture is taken each time the shutter button is pressed.

* Settings that have been altered from the value selected by the user are displayed in yellow; the original setting will be restored when another burst shooting option is selected.
