Remove a PCIe Card

Before you begin, complete these tasks:
Read the section, “Safety Information” on page63.
Power off the server, using one of the methods described in the section, “Powering
Off the System” on page67.
“Extend the Server to the Maintenance Position” on page70
“Perform Electrostatic Discharge – Antistatic Prevention Measures” on page73
“Remove the Top Cover” on page73
Do the following :
1. Identify the PCIe card you want to remove.
2. Open the PCIe card latch.
