6.2.3 Editing updates
Youcan edit the individual updates.
1. Selecta group in the trees tructure.
2. Goto the Updates tab in the Repository Manager,see "Updates tab" on
page128.
3. Selectthe update you want to edit.
4. Click Edit.
TheEdit U pdate'sProperties dialogbox opens.
5. Changethe requiredpropertiesof the update.
6. Click OK toc onfirmy ourchanges. The dialogbox closes andthe
changedpropertiesare appliedto the update.
6.2.4 Releasing updates
Youcan release updatesonce a test update has beencompleted with sat-
isfactory results for oneor more components.
Youcannot undot his command.If youw antt o undothe release, you
mustedit each update.
1. Selectthe relevant groupin the tree structure.
2. Goto the Updates tab in the Repository Manager,see "Updates tab" on
page128.
3. Selectthe update(s) you want to release.
4. Click Release.Repository Manageropens a dialog box whereyou must
confirmthat you want the selected updates to be released.
5. Click Yest o confirmt herelease. The dialogbox closes andthe value
yesappearsin the Released columnf orall s electedupdates.
