eachonline updatejob contains an updatetool for the componentc on-

agent),andt his starts the update toolw ith the parametersrequiredfor
thecomponents concerned.

8. Theupdateagent updates the job status information.
9. TheUpdate Managerfetches the current status and errorinformation
andpresents it on the graphicaluser interface or, if you areusing the
CLI, places it in result files.
10. Dependingonthe request-specific parameters,the server may needt o
berebootedby the managements tationat theend of the updateoper-
ationin ordert o enablethe updatedcomponents.
If you use the commandline interface for the update,the reboot does
NOToccur automatically. It must beexplicitly executedwith t hec om-
mandGFCLI -R.
