6.5 Filteringa table
Youcan use the values or value rangesin a specific c olumnto f iltert he
entriesin a table. A filter icon on the right of the table headerindicates which
columnscan be filtered: .
Tofilter the entries in a table, follow the steps below:
1. Click the filter icon next to the column. The Filtering for Column
dialogbox opensw ith the Standardtab displayed, "Standard(Filter
dialogbox)" on page196.
2. If you want to filter the columns basedon one value, select the value for
whichyou want t o display thec orrespondingtablerows on the Stand-
ardtab.
3. If you want to filter the columns basedon a value range, select the Cus-
tomizetab.
4. Onthe Customize tab, formulate the conditionfor the values that are to
bedisplayed in this column.
5. SelectOK to confirm your entries. The dialogbox closes andthe table
entriesare displayedaccording to your selection. The filter icon for the
filteredcolumn now appearsdark blue.
