Preheatthe ovenif the recipecallsfor it. Preheating is necessary for good resultswhen baking cakes, cookies, pastries and breads.
If baking four cake layersat the same time, place two layers on rack Cand two layerson rack E. Stagger panson the rackso oneis not directlyabovethe other.
Baking results will be better if food is centeredin the oven asmuch as possible. Angel food cake is the exception and should be placed on the bottom oven rack (positionA). Follow package directions on prepackagedand frozen foods for pan placement. Pansshould nottouch each other orthe wals of theoven. Ifyou needto use two racks,stagger the pans so oneis not directly″ above the other. Leave approximately 11⁄2 between pans andfrom the front,back and sidesof ovenwall.

Care
Touchthe BAKE pad.
Touchthe number pads untilthe desired temperature is displayed.
Touchthe START pad.
The ovenwill start automatically. The display will show PrE while preheating. When the oven reaches the selected temperature, theoven control will beep severaltimes and the display will show the oventemperature.
NOTE: You will hear the convection fan (on some models) while the oven is preheating. The fan will stopafter the oven is preheated and the displayshows your set temperature. This is normal.
To change the oventemperature during
the BAKE cycle, touch the BAKE pad and then the numberpads toget the new temperature.
Check foodfor doneness atthe minimum time on the recipe. Cook ongerl if necessary.
Touch the CLEAR/OFF pad when bakingis finished, and then removethe foodfrom the oven.
