PREV 

Skips to the previous chapter or track during DVD playback.

REC

Starts recording.

REC SPEED

DVD: Sets the recording mode to HQ (1 hr), SP (2 hrs), EP (4 hrs), or SLP ( hrs).

VCR: Sets the recording mode to SP or SLP (3 times SP).

REPEAT

Repeats the current title, chapter, track, or disc.

REW

Scans backward at 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and 32x normal speed.

SEARCH

Jumps to a specific title, chapter, track, or time during disc playback.

SETUP

Displays or exits the Setup menu.

SLOW+/-

Plays at 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8 normal speed.

STOP 

Stops and holds playback or recording. Press again to reset playback to the beginning of the disc.

SUBTITLE

Selects among all available subtitle languages during DVD playback.

TIMER

Displays the Timer

Recording menu.

TITLE

Displays a disc’s Title Menu (if available).

TRACKING +/- Manually adjusts tracking during VCR playback.

TV VIEW

Switches the view on your TV to the DVD Recorder+VCR.

TV/VCR

Switches between the DVD Recorder+VCR’s tuner and your TV’s tuner.

VCR

Selects VCR mode.

ZOOM

Magnifies the size of the on-screen image. Use the arrow keys to move around the magnified image.
