Add/Remove Channels
Allows you to manually add or remove channels.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use / to select “Installation.”
3 Use / to select “Add/Remove Channels,” then press ENTER.
4 Use / to select the desired channel.
5 Press ENTER to switch the channel’s status to:
- Adds the selected channel.
x- Removes the selected channel. 6 Repeat steps
removing channels.
7 Press SETUP to exit.
Modulator Out
Sets the channel you will use on your TV to view the DVD Recorder+VCR.
•This setting is only applicable when the unit is connected to a TV using the RF Out jack.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use / to select “Installation.”
3 Use / to select “Modulator Out,” then press ENTER.
4 Use / to select CH3 or CH4 then press
ENTER.
5 Tune your TV to this station to view the DVD Recorder+VCR.
6 Press SETUP to exit.
Set Clock
Sets the clock on the DVD Recorder+VCR. This is important when setting timer recordings.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use / to select “Installation.”
3 Use / to select “Set Clock,” then press
ENTER.
3 Use / to highlight and / to adjust each setting (hour, minute, etc.)
4 When finished, press ENTER.
5 Press SETUP to exit.
Recording Settings
The Recording Options menu allows you to set the default quality for DVD and VCR recording. It also allows you to enable automatic chapter marking and the YesDVD feature as default settings.

DVD Record Quality
Sets the default DVD recording quality from
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use / to select “Recording Options.”
3 Use / to select “DVD Record Quality,” then press ENTER.
4 Use / to select the desired record quality, then press ENTER.
• HQ - Best quality (1 hour/disc).
• SP - Good quality (2 hours/disc).
• EP - Average quality (4 hours/disc).
• SLP - Low quality (6 hours/disc).
5 Press SETUP to exit.
VCR Record Quality
Sets the default VCR recording quality.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Use / to select “Recording Options.”
3 Use / to select “VCR Record Quality,” then press ENTER.
4 Use / to select the desired record quality, then press ENTER.
• SP - Good quality
• SLP - Low quality (3 times the recording length of SP mode).
5 Press SETUP to exit.
