-Feature Codes

Feature codes allow GXE502X users to set features such as Call Forwarding and Do Not Disturb on related extensions, as well as access destinations such as the voicemail system. This page also allows users to customize the feature codes. The feature codes may be viewed or modified in the text field beside each feature name.

ƒDirectory Assistance: Dial from a phone to have the GXE502X playback the phone’s extension number.

ƒIVR/Voice Prompt Assistance: For listening to and recording voice prompts. Dial the feature code plus * 0 * [prompt number] * to listen to the voice prompt. Dial the feature code plus * 1 * [prompt number] * to record the voice prompt.

Example: The voice prompt file number 350 “Please enter the voicemail extension and #” and the code feature is *68.

-If you want to listen to this voice prompt, enter: *68*0*350*

-If you want to record the voice prompt number 350, enter: *68*1*350*

ƒEnable Unconditional Call Forward: Dial the feature code plus [forward-to number] to enable unconditional call forwarding for the extension you are dialing with.

ƒCancel Unconditional Call Forward: Cancel unconditional call forward, calls will ring in.

ƒEnable Call Forward on Busy: Dial the feature code plus [forward-to number] to turn on busy call forwarding for the extension you are dialing with.
