Basic (De base)

Pour les pains blancs et mélangés faits à partir d’une farine à pain ordinaire.

French (Français)

Pour les pains légers faits à partir d’une farine fine. En règle générale, le pain est léger et sa croûte est croustillante. Ce réglage ne convient pas aux recettes qui demandent du beurre, de la margarine ou du lait.

Gluten-Free (Sans gluten)

Pour les pains et les mélanges sans gluten.

Quick (Rapide)

Pour les recettes de pain rapides qui n’exigent pas de levure organique mais possiblement de la poudre à pâte (levure chimique) ou du bicarbonate de soude. Le temps requis pour le pétrissage, la levée et la cuisson est moindre que pour le pain ordinaire.

Sweet (Sucré)

Pour les pains auxquels on ajoute des ingrédients tels que jus de fruit, noix de coco râpée, raisins, fruits secs, chocolat ou sucre. La phase de levée étant plus longue, le pain sera léger et aéré.

Dough (Pâte)

Ce cycle sert à préparer la pâte pour des aliments à cuire au four conventionnel tels que brioches, pizzas, etc. Ce cycle ne comporte aucune cuisson.

Jam (Confiture)

Pour faire de la confiture à partir de fruits frais.

Cake (Gâteau)

Le pétrissage, la levée et la cuisson s’effectuent, mais à l’aide de bicarbonate de soude ou de poudre à pâte.

Whole Grain (Grains entiers)

Pour les pains faits à partir de farines plus denses qui requièrent une phase de pétrissage et de levée plus longue (farine de blé entier, farine de seigle). Le pain sera plus dense et plus lourd.

Bake (Cuisson)

Lorsqu’une cuisson prolongée est nécessaire parce que la miche est trop légère ou insuffisamment cuite. Le cycle ne comporte ni pétrissage ni délai.
