Always weara PFD (Personal
Flotation Device) while on the boat.
Attach the emergency stop switch
lanyard securely to the operator or to
the operator’s PFD.
For your safety, and to maximize the
servicelif e of your equipment, it is
very important to take a few
momentsbef ore you operate the
outboardmotor to check its condition.
Be sureto takecare of any problem
you find, or have your authorized
Honda Marinedealer correct it,
before you operate the outboard
motor.
Before beginning your pre-operation
checks, be sure the emergency stop
switch clip is removed from the
emergencystop switch.
