precautions follow. However, we
cannotwarn you of every
conceivable hazard that can arise in
performing maintenance. Only you
can decidewhether or not you should
perform a given task.
Makesure the engine is of f before
you begin anymaintenance or
repairs. This will eliminate several
potential hazards:
Read theinstructions bef oreyou
begin,and make sure you have the
tools and skills required.
To reduce the possibility of fire or
explosion,be caref ul when
working aroundgasoline. Use only
a nonflammable solvent,not
gasoline, to clean parts. Keep
cigarettes, sparks, and flames away
from all fuel-related parts.
Wear gloves when handling the
propellerto protect your hands
from sharp edges.Let the engineand exhaust
systemcool bef ore touching.
Do not run the engine unless
instructed to do so.
Do not startor runthe engine in
a confined or partly enclosed
area.
