FUELFILLER CAP

Less friction allows the outboard

motor to turn more easily. More

friction helps to hold asteady course

whilecruising or to prevent the

outboard motorf rom swinging while

trailering the boat.

The fuel filler cap is provided with a

vent knob to sealthe f uel tank. Open

the ventknob 2 or 3 turns bef ore

startingthe engine (p. ).

The steering friction bolt adjusts

steering resistance.

Use the clamp screws to secure the

outboardmotor to the transom.
