9.From the outside of the chassis, remove the four Phillips screws that secure the fan to the chassis.

10.From the inside of the chassis, slide the fan out from underneath the chassis lip, and then remove the fan.

To install the rear fan, reverse the removal procedure.

Antennas

Two antennas are secured to chassis – one on the front, one on the back. You must remove all other components to remove the antennas.

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 141).

2.Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 142).

3.Remove the optical drive (Removing the optical drive on page 151).

4.Remove the front fan (Front fan on page 150).

5.Remove the hard drive (Hard drive on page 154).
