You can create, edit, and operate on matrices and vectors

in the Home view, CAS, or in programs. You can enter

matrices directly in Home or CAS, or use the Matrix Editor.

Vectors

Vectors are one-dimensional arrays. They are composed

of just one row. A vector is represented by single brackets;

for example, [1 2 3]. A vector can be a real number

vector, or a complex number vector such as

[1+2*i 7+3*i].

Matrices

Matrices are two-dimensional arrays. They are composed

of at least two rows and at least one column. Matrices

may contain any combination of or real and complex

numbers, such as:

1 2 3

or

1 + 2i

.

Matrix variables There are ten reserved matrix variables available, named M0 to M9; however, you can save a matrix in a variable name you define. You can then use them in calculations in Home or CAS views or in a program. You can retrieve matrix names from the Vars menu, or just type their names from the keyboard.
