7.Install the Voltage Regulator Module (VRM):
a.Ensure that the VRM board is fully inserted and properly seated.
CAUTION: You must install a Compaq approved VRM board when installing a second processor. Using a VRM board that is incompatible with the primary VRM board may severely or permanently damage the system board.
b. Install the VRM clip, ensuring that the clip snaps into place.
