3.Remove the four Torx T8M2.5x5.0 screws inside the battery bay (1) and the three Torx T8M2.5x5.0 screws in the optical drive/upgrade drive bay (2).
4.Position the computer upright and open it as far as possible.
5.Disconnect the following cables:
●(1) Function board
●(2) Power button board cable
●(3) TouchPad cable
●(4) Fingerprint reader board
6.Starting at the top right, pry the top cover up to disengage it from the base enclosure (1).
