Calling Voicemail

 is reserved for your voicemail. Tap and hold on the Phone keypad to call voicemail and retrieve your voicemail messages. For more information about using voicemail, see “Using Voicemail” on page 130.

Answering a Call

Your device notifies you of incoming calls in the following ways:

The device rings or vibrates.

The Talk key flashes a white light.

The LED ring around the Navigation Control flashes a white light.

The backlight illuminates.

The screen displays an incoming call message. If the incoming call is from a number stored in your Contacts, the caller’s name is displayed. The caller’s phone number and picture may also be displayed, if available.

Accepting an Incoming Call

To answer the call:

Tap Answer or press the Talk key.

To mute the ringing sound without rejecting the call:

Tap Mute Ring when you receive an incoming call.

Place your device face down.
