Indicator Meaning
4Scroll lock Green: ScrollLock mode is enabled. Arrow
keyscan be used as screen-scroll
functionkeys, but not to move the
cursor.To enable or disable Scroll
Lockmode, press Fn + ScrLk key.
Notall application programs
supportthis function.
5Power on Green: This indicator stays lighted
wheneverthe computer is on. If
thepower-on indicator is on and
thestandby indicator is off, the
systemis ready to use. If both the
power-onindicator and the standby
indicatorare on, you can use the
computerafter it returns from the
standbymode and the standby
indicatorgoes off.
6Battery Green: The battery is fully charged.
Blinkinggreen:
Thebattery has enough power to
operate,but is being charged.
Orange: Thebattery power is low. The
batteryneeds to be charged.
Blinkingorange:
Thebattery needs to be charged
whenthe indicator starts blinking
orange,the computer beeps three
times.
7Standby
status Green: Thecomputer is in standby mode.
Blinkinggreen:
Thecomputer is entering standby
modeor hibernation mode, or is
resumingnormal operation. This
indicatordoes not blink in Windows
2000,Windows Me, and Windows
XP.
8Ultrabay
status Green: AnUltrabay 2000 device is
installedand in use.
Blinkinggreen:
AnUltrabay 2000 device is in the
processof being detached.
Turnoff: AnUltrabay 2000 device is ready
tobe attached or detached.
Note: Ifyou are using Windows 2000 or
WindowsXP, the Ultrabay status indicator
doesnot blink while an Ultrabay 2000 device
isbeing detached. Instead, a message box
popsup when the process is completed; then
theindicator turns off.
