ADJUSTING THE BACK RECLINE

ALL MODELS EXCEPT ZOOM-3, SX-3 AND LX-3 (FIGURE 3)

1.Loosen the outside jam nut.

2.Adjust mounting screw up or down to obtain the desired back angle.

3.Thread inside jam nut upwards to the top edge of the back bracket.

4.Securely tighten both the inside and outside jam nuts to secure mounting screw in place.

WARNING

Both mounting screws MUST be adjusted to obtain the same back angle so the weight of the user is evenly distributed. Otherwise, injury to the user and/or damage to the scooter may occur.

5.Repeat STEPS 1-4 for opposite side of back. To maintain same angle, count

the number of exposed threads between the mounting screw and the outside jam nut.

ADJUSTING THE HEADREST

ALL MODELS EXCEPT ZOOM-3 (FIGURE 4)

1.To raise headrest, lift headrest up to desired position.

NOTE: Headrest is locked in position when an audible "click" is heard.

2.To lower headrest, push release tab towards the inside of the chair. Lower headrest to desired position.
