This Procedure includes the following:

Nylon Clothing Guard With Plastic Insert Replacement

Rigid Clothing Guard Replacement

WARNING

After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attach- ing hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.

NYLON CLOTHING GUARD WITH PLASTIC INSERT REPLACEMENT (FIGURE 1)

CLOTHING

1. Lift up on the seat cushion and remove it from the chair.

2.Separate the nylon clothing guard with plastic insert from the seat and back upholstery.

3.Install NEW nylon clothing guard with plastic insert onto the seat and back upholstery.

NOTE: The fastening flaps that secure the nylon clothing guards to the back upholstery wrap around the outside of the back canes.

4.Reattach the seat cushion to the seat upholstery.

RIGID CLOTHING GUARD REPLACEMENT (FIGURE 2)

1.Remove rear wheels if necessary. Refer to REMOVING/INSTALLING REAR WHEELS in PROCEDURE 6 of this manual.

2.Remove seat cushion from chair.

3.Install the clothing guard clamps to the chair as shown in FIGURE 2 with the outer clamp located onto the outside of the seat rail and the inner clamp on the inside of the seat rail.

4.Assemble the clamps together with allen screw and washer provided.

5.Adjust clamp assembly forward or rear- ward to desired position.

6.Install rigid clothing guard by inserting stem into clamp assembly.

7.Repeat steps for other side of chair.
