FOOTREST

PROCEDURE 7 FOOTREST

This Procedure includes the following:

Installing/Using/Adjusting the Fixed Footrest - After 4/2000

T-3 Tennis Elite Individual Footplates - Before 4/2000

T-3 Tennis Adjustable Footrest System - Before 4/2000

WARNING

After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attach- ing hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.

INSTALLING/USING/ADJUSTING THE FIXED FOOTREST - AFTER 4/2000 (FIGURE 1)

WARNING

Feet MUST be secured into the fixed footrest BEFORE using wheelchair. Otherwise, injury or damage may occur.

INSTALLING/USING FOOTREST - T-3 ELITE, T-3 ADJUSTABLE, T-3 TITANIUM

1.Remove the hex screws from the mounting bracket.

2.Position the upper support tube on the underside of the wheelchair frame.

3.Position the mounting bracket on top of the wheel chair frame.

4.Install the hex screws to secure the mounting bracket to the upper support tube.

5.If necessary, adjust footrest. Refer to ADJUSTING FOOTREST in this procedure.

6.Pull the buckle out to release foot strap.

7.Place feet onto footrests.

8.Pull end of foot strap to tighten.

9.Close buckle to secure foot strap and feet to footplate.

10.Secure ankles by wrapping ankle strap around lower support tube and ankles.
