Connecting the Humidifier

DONOTreversetheoxygeninputandoutputconnections.

cannulabacktothepatient.

NOTE:Connectthehumidifieronlyifprescribed.Usethehumidifieronlyin
ContinuousFlowMode.
1. Removecapfrombottle.
2. Fillhumidifierwithdistilledwatertothelevelindicatedbythe
manufacturer.Replacethehumidifiercapandsecurelytighten.

3. Attachthehumidifierbottleadaptertothehumidifierbottlebyturning
thewingnutonthehumidifierbottlecounterclockwiseuntilitis
securelyfastened.SeeDETAIL“A”inFIGURE6.4.
4. Placethehumidifierbottle/adapterassemblyintheoutsidepocketof
theaccessorybag.Attachtheaccessorybagtothepullcartasshownin
FIGURE6.4.
5. Rotatethebottlewithinthepocketsothatthehumidifieradapterhose
isawayfromthebodyofthetransportableoxygenconcentrator.
6. Attachoxygentubingfromthehumidifierbottle/adapterassemblyto
