¡ Back Surround Speaker Outputs: These speaker terminals are normally used to power the back surround left/ back surround right speakers in a 7.1- channel system. In conformance with the CEA color-code specification, the brown terminal is the positive (+) terminal that should be connected to the red (+) termi- nal on the Back Surround Left speaker with older color-coding, while the tan

terminal should be connected to the red

(+)terminal on the Back Surround Right speaker with the older color-coding. Connect the black (–) terminal on the CVR700 to the matching black negative

(–) terminals for each back surround speaker. (See page 42 for more informa- tion on speaker polarity.)

Side Surround Speaker Outputs:

Connect these outputs to the matching + and – terminals on your side surround (7.1-channel system) or Surround (5.1- channel system) speakers. Conforming to CEA color-code specifications, the blue terminal is the positive (+) terminal that should be connected to the (+) terminal on the Side Surround/Surround Left speaker with older color-coding; the gray
