Scan for Beginning of Programme with VCR Navigation

C Access the VCR Navigation screen.

The VCR Navigation can take effect for the programme which has been recorded, and whose information has been registered with this recorder. Once the VHS (S-VHS) cassettes have been used for recording with this recorder, they have the register number given by this recorder.

● Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.

● If the recorder is turned on with HDD deck selected,

Press NAVIGATION. The VCR Navigation screen appears.

●If a registered cassette has been loaded, the contents of the loaded cassette will appear. To select the programme from the loaded cassette, go to step F.

A Turn on the recorder.

Press 1.

B Select the VHS deck.

Press S-VHS.

D Search for the programme.

Press w e to move the arrow to select one of the 3 search types, then press OK or t.

ASelect “DATE” if you want to search for the registered programme by the recording date.

BSelect “CATEGORY” if you want to search for the registered programme by the category in which you have classified the programme.

CSelect “CASSETTE #” if you want to search for the programme by each registered cassette.

E Load the cassette.

After you have found the programme and checked its cassette number, insert the cassette.

F Select the programme.

Press w e to move the arrow on the index (small still pictures) of the desired programme.

G Start playback.

Press OK to move the arrow to “PLAY” on the Index screen, then press OK again. Or simply press 4. The playback starts.

H Pause playback.

Press 9.

●To resume normal playback, press 4.

I Stop playback.

Press 8.
