Random Assemble Editing

8-programme Editing Memory (1 programme x 8 scenes)

By using the Random Assemble Editing function, you can select up to 8 scenes from a previously recorded programme on the HDD deck and automatically dub them onto a cassette on the VHS deck.

Random Assemble Editing is possible only when dubbing from the HDD deck to the VHS deck.

A Load a cassette.

Insert a cassette with the record safety tab intact.

B Select the HDD deck.

Press HDD.

C Access the HDD Navigation screen.

Press NAVIGATION. The HDD Navigation screen appears.

D Access the edit screen.

Press w e to move the arrow to “EDITING”, then press

OK.

E Select the programme.

Press w e to move the arrow to select one programme you want to edit, then press t or OK.

F Access the R.A.Edit screen.

Press OK at the “R.A.EDIT”. The R.A.Edit screen appears.

G Start playback of the source programme.

Press 4 to start playback. The playback pictures appear in the window of the R.A.Edit screen. The first edit-in time starts counting with the arrow to “IN/OUT”.
