ÖPressing this button switches between FM stereo, FM mono and AM.

To listen to an FM stereo broadcast

FM stereo

Set to this position by pressing the TUNER BAND button when listening to or recording an FM broadcast. If an FM stereo broadcast is received, the “STEREO” indicator is lit in the display window, and the FM broadcast can be heard in stereo.

FM mono

Set to this position by pressing the TUNER BAND button if FM stereo reception is noisy. The “MONO” indicator is lit and the sound becomes monaural, but the reception will be improved.

When another station is tuned to in this mode, the “MONO” indicator goes off and the unit returns to FM stereo automatically.

Note:

AM broadcasts are monaural.

Para escuchar un programa estereofónico de FM

FM estéreo

Ajuste en esta posición presionando el botón TUNER BAND mientras escucha o graba un programa de FM. Si la unidad recibe una radiodifusión estereofónica de FM, el indicador “STEREO” se enciende en la ventanilla de indicación y se escucha la radiodifusión estereofónica.

FM mono

Ajuste en esta posición presionando el botón TUNER BAND si la recepción de FM estereofónica tiene ruido. El indicador “MONO” se enciende y el sonido se vuelve monofónico, pero la recepción mejora.

Cuando se sintoniza otra estación en este modo, el indicador “MONO” se apaga y la unidad vuelve automáticamente a FM estéreo.

Nota:

Los programas en AM son monofónicos.

Ricezione di una trasmissione FM stereo

FM stereo

Per l’ascolto o la registrazione di una trasmissione FM stereo agire sul tasto TUNER BAND sino a portarlo su questa posizione. In caso di ricezione di una trasmissione stereofonica, sul quadrante compare l’indicazione “STEREO”, e la trasmissione può essere ascoltata in stereofonia.

FM mono

Se la ricezione FM stereo risulta molto disturbata passare a questa posizione agendo sul tasto TUNER BAND. Sul quadrante compare l’indicazione “MONO” e la ricezione passa a monoaurale, ma la qualità sonora risulta assai migliorata.

Sintonizzandosi su un’altra stazione mentre ci si trova in questa modalità, l’indicazione “MONO” scompare e la banda ritorna automaticamente a quella FM auto.

Nota:

Le trasmissioni AM sono monoaurali.

Seek tuning (auto tuning)

Press the 4 or ¢ button for one second or more. The unit enters the seek tuning mode to tune in the nearest station automatically, so the broadcast can be heard. In AM operation, the frequency moves continuously from the MW to the LW band and vice versa.

Búsqueda de sintonía (sintonización automática)

Presione el botón 4 o ¢ durante un segundo o más. La unidad ingresa en el modo de búsqueda de sintonía, sintonizando automáticamente la estación más próxima, escuchándose la radiodifusión. En la operación de AM la frecuencia se mueve continuamente desde la banda de OM a la de OL y viceversa.

Sintonizzazione con ricerca (sintonizzazione automatica)

Premere il tasto 4 o ¢ per un secondo o più. L’unità entra nel modo di sintonizzazione con ricerca per sintonizzare automaticament e la stazione più vicina e rendere così possibile la ricezione. Durante il funzionamento in AM, la frequenza passa continuamente dalla banda MW a quella LW e viceversa.

Each time the 4 or ¢button is pressed, the unit steps through the current frequency band. Tuning is done in steps of 50 kHz for FM and 9 kHz for AM (MW/LW). In AM operation, the tuned frequency moves continuously from the MW (522-1,629 kHz) to the LW (144-288 kHz) band and vice versa.

Cada vez que se presiona el botón 4o ¢, la unidad pasa a través de la banda de frecuencia actual. La sintonización es efectuada en pasos de 50 kHz para FM, de 9 kHz para AM (OM/OL). En AM, la frecuencia sintonizada se mueve continuamente de la banda de OM (522- 1.629 kHz) a la de OL (144-288 kHz) y viceversa.
