ÖLoading batteries
1.Open the battery cover by pulling it toward you while pressing the sections marked by the arrows.
2.Insert 8 “R20/D (13F)” size batteries (optional) as shown in the diagram.
*Be careful to insert the batteries with the » and á terminals positioned correctly.
3.Replace the cover.

1.Abra la tapa del compartimiento de las pilas jalándola hacia usted mientras presiona las secciones marcadas con las flechas.
2.Inserte 8 pilas “R20/D (13F)” (opcional) como se muestra en el diagrama.
*Tome precauciones para insertar las pilas con los terminales »y ácorrectamente posicionados.
3.Coloque la tapa.

C. Funzionamento a batterie
ÖInserimento batterie
1.Aprire il coperchio del vano batterie tirando mentre si preme sulla sezione indicata dalle frecce.
2.Inserire 8 batterie di formato “R20/D (13F)” (opzionali) come indicato in figura.
*Fare attenzione ad inserire le batterie con le polarità »e ánelle posizioni corrette.
3.Reinstallare il coperchio.
Battery replacement
When the batteries are nearly exhausted, the following symptoms may appear. In this case, replace the batteries with fresh ones. (Do not use fresh ones and old ones together.)
For the main unit
Mistracking occurs during CD playback or sound is distorted intermittently during TAPE playback.
For the memory
When the AC power cord is unplugged, the stored memory (timer/clock setting/preset tuning) is erased.
It is recommended that the AC power cord be used when recording important material or listening to a CD.
ÖFor better battery usage
Continuous operation of the unit causes the battery power to be consumed quicker than noncontinuous operation.
Operation of the unit in a cold place causes the battery power to be consumed more quickly than in a warm place.
ÖFor power supply
The use of household AC is recommended when continuous operation of the unit is required over a longer period of time.
CAUTIONS:
ÖWHEN NOT USING THE UNIT FOR A LONG TIME (MORE THAN TWO WEEKS) OR WHEN ALWAYS USING HOUSEHOLD AC, REMOVE THE BATTERIES TO AVOID A MALFUNCTION OR DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
ÖWHEN THE JVC POWER CORD PROVIDED WITH THIS UNIT IS CONNECTED, THE POWER IS AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHED FROM THE BATTERIES TO THE HOUSEHOLD AC EVEN WHEN THE BATTERIES ARE LOADED. HOWEVER, REMOVE THE BATTERIES WHEN USING THE POWER CORD.
Reemplazo de las pilas
Cuando las pilas estén casi agotadas, aparecerán los siguientes síntomas. En este caso reemplace las pilas por nuevas. (No emplee pilas nuevas y viejas conjuntamente).
Para la unidad principal
Durante la reproducción del CD ocurren fallas de seguimiento o el sonido presenta distorsión intermitente durante la reproducción de TAPE.
Para apoyo de memoria
Cuando se desenchufa el cable de CA, la memoria almacenada (ajustes del temporizador/reloj/presintonización) se borra. Se recomienda emplear el cable de alimentación de CA cuando graba material importante o escucha un CD.
ÖPara una mejor utilización de las pilas
Si este aparato se utiliza continuamente, las pilas se gastarán más rápido que si se utiliza de vez en cuando.
Si se utiliza en un lugar frío, las pilas se consuminarán más rápidamente que si se utiliza en un lugar cálido.
ÖPara el suministro de energía
Se recomienda utilizar CA del hogar, cuando desee operar la unidad continuadamente durante un largo período.
PRECAUCIONES:
ÖSI NO VA A UTILIZAR LA UNIDAD DURANTE LARGO TIEMPO (MAS DE DOS SEMANAS), O CUANDO UTILICE CA DEL HOGAR, EXTRAIGA LAS PILAS PARA EVITAR FALLAS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO O DAÑOS A LA UNIDAD.
ÖCUANDO SE CONECTA EL CORDON DE ALIMENTACION DE JVC DE ESTA UNIDAD,
LA ALIMENTACION CONMUTA AUTOMATICAMENTE DE LAS PILAS A CA AUN CUANDO LAS PILAS ESTEN
COLOCADAS. SIN EMBARGO RECOMENDAMOS QUE EXTRAIGA LAS PILAS CUANDO UTILIZA EL CORDON DE ALIMENTACION.
Sostituzione della batteria
Quando le batterie sono prossime all’esaurimento, possono comparire i sintomi descritti qui di seguito. In tal caso provvedere alla sostituzione con batterie nuove. Non usare batterie nuove insieme a batterie già usate.
Apparecchio principale
Nel corso della lettura di un disco si verificano dei salti di pista o di tanto in tanto il suono risulta distorto durante la riproduzione di un nastro.
Memoria di appoggio
Se si stacca il cavo di alimentazione a corrente alternata di rete, i dati in memoria (predisposizioni per l’ora e il timer, o stazioni predesignate per la sintonizzazione) vengono cancellati.
In caso di registrazione di materiale importante, o per l’ascolto di compact disc, si consiglia di alimentare l’apparecchio con collegamento ad una presa di corrente alternata di rete.
ÖPer un migliore utilizzo delle batterie L’uso continuo dell’unità causa un consumo più rapido delle batterie che l’uso discontinuo. L’uso dell’unità al freddo causa un consumo più rapido delle batterie che l’uso al caldo.
ÖAlimentazione costante
In caso di uso per lunghi e continui periodi di tempo, si consiglia di alimentare l’apparecchio collegandolo ad una presa di corrente alternata di rete.
ATTENZIONE:
ÖQUANDO NON SI UTILIZZA L'UNITA' PER UN LUNGO PERIODO (PIU' DI DUE SETTIMANE) OPPURE QUANDO SI UTILIZZA SEMPRE UNA PRESA DI RETE CA , RIMUOVERE LE BATTERIE PER EVITARE DISFUNZIONI O DANNI ALL'UNITA'.
ÖQUANDO IL CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE JVC IN DOTAZIONE A QUESTA UNITA' VIENE COLLEGATO, L'ALIMENTAZIONE PASSA AUTOMATICAMENTE DALLE BATTERIE ALLA CORRENTE DI RETE CA ANCHE CON LE BATTERIE INSERITE. RIMUOVERE COMUNQUE LE BATTERIE QUANDO SI UTILIZZA IL CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE.
