•Press [CALL] to delete the character at the current cursor position.
•On the transceiver display, DTMF code “” is represented by “E” and “#” is represented by “F”.
•You can also enter a DTMF code using the keypad. Simply enter your desired DTMF codes on the keypad.
5Press [MENU] to select the DTMF code and move the cursor to the next digit.
6Repeat steps 5 and 6 to enter up to 16 digits.
7To complete the entry, press [MENU] without selecting a DTMF code. To confirm the stored DTMF code, perform steps 1 and 2, then press [MON]. The programmed DTMF code scrolls through the display without transmitting.
8Press any key other than [MON], [UP]/ [DOWN] or [] to exit Menu mode.
■Transmitting a Stored DTMF Code
1While pressing and holding [PTT], press [MENU].
2Release [MENU] (continue pressing [PTT]), then rotate the Selector (or press [UP]/ [DOWN]) to select the desired DTMF memory channel number.
3While still holding [PTT], press [MENU] again to transmit the selected DTMF tones.
•The code stored in the channel scrolls across the display, accompanied by DTMF tones from the speaker.
•After transmission, the frequency display is restored.
•If you do not need to confirm the memory channel contents, press [0] ~ [9] instead of turning the Selector (or pressing [UP]/ [DOWN]) in step 2, to select a channel number. The stored DTMF code will be immediately transmitted. (You do not have to press [MENU] in step 3.)
