To Authorize a Disc When child lock is active, the child protection dialog box appears on screen each time a new DVD or VCD is played.

LIST OF AUTHORIZED DISCS

1.Enter your secret code and select PLAYBACK ONCE. The disc can be played as long as it is in the Showcase DVD transport, and the player is ON.

Enter your secret code and select PLAYBACK ALWAYS. The disc is authorized for play and the child safe temporary field icon is dis- played, even if the child lock function in the setup menu is ON. If you select PLAY ALWAYS, the player will remember the disc for future use.

The Showcase DVD keeps a list of 80 child safe disc titles in memory. A disc is placed at the top of the list when you select

in the child protection dialog box. When the list is full and a new disc is added, the last disc on the list is deleted from memory. Double sided DVDs may have a different ID for each side. To make the disc child safe, each side needs to be authorized.
