•Die Batteriekontakte sollten stets sauber gehalten werden.

•Befindet sich ein Film in der Kamera, sollten Sie gleich nach dem Herausnehmen der alten Batterie eine neue einlegen.

•Kälte verringert die Batterieleistung. Außerdem wird der Film steifer und erschwert somit den Filmtransport. Bei niedrigen Temperaturen sollte die LEICA CM deshalb möglichst in Kör- pernähe getragen und mit einer frischen Batterie benutzt wer- den.

•Verbrauchte Batterien dürfen nicht in den normalen Hausmüll geworfen werden denn sie enthalten giftige, umweltbelasten- de Substanzen. Um sie einem geregelten Recycling zuzu- führen, sollten sie beim Handel abgegeben oder zum Sonder- müll (Sammelstelle) gegeben werden.

Schieben Sie dazu den ON/OFF-Schalter (7) in die entsprechend gekennzeichnete ON-Position. Daraufhin öffnet sich die Objektiv- abdeckung, das Objektiv fährt in die Bereitschaftsstellung und im Datenfeld (19) erscheinen die Anzeigen.

Beim Ausschalten der Kamera durch Schieben des ON/OFF- Schalters in die OFF-Position verlöschen alle Anzeigen, das Ob- jektiv fährt zurück und die Objektivabdeckung schließt sich.

Wird die Kamera nach dem Einschalten ca. 3 Minuten nicht aus- gelöst, schaltet sie sich automatisch und wie oben beschrieben aus, allerdings fährt das Objektiv in diesem Fall nicht zurück.

Diese Stand-by Schaltung vermeidet unnötigen Batteriever- brauch.
