Um das Verwacklungsrisiko zu minimieren, wird die Belichtungszeit bei den Betriebsarten mit Blitz-Zuschaltung nicht über 1/60 s hin- aus verlängert. Deshalb wird der bei Aufnahmen mit Blitzeinsatz nicht vom Blitzlicht ausgeleuchtete Hintergrund oft stark unter- belichtet.

Für eine angemessene Berücksichtigung des vorhandenen Umgebungslichts sind in solchen Aufnahmesituationen längere Belich- tungszeiten erforderlich. In dieser Betriebsart steuert das Umgebungslicht die Verschlusszeiten ggfs. sogar bis zur Langzeit-Belich- tung B. (siehe den Abschnitt „Die selbständig sich einstellende B-Funktion“, S. 49).
