This section describes how to install a PC Card.

Your

computer

has

two

PC

Card slots

(upper slot and lower slo

and

supports

the

following

types

of

cards:

PC

Card

I,

Type

II,

and

Type III)

Do not

insert

a

PC

Card whileCardBus

the computer

is in

suspend

Zoomed

Video

(ZV)

mode. Otherwise,

the system

might

hang.

1Find the notched edge1 of the PC Card as shown.

2 Insert the PC Card into the appropriate slot accord your PC Card type.

If you are using a PC Card with** connector,an XJACK insert it into the upper slot.

If you are using a Type I or Type II PC Card, inse either the upper slot or the lower slot.

If you are using a Type III PC Card, insert the ca lower slot.
