Replacing the Battery Pack

Replacing the Battery Pack

To replace the battery pack, do as follows:

You can replace the battery when the computer is in hibe mode. (You cannot replace it when the computer is in suspe mode.) If you are using a PC Card, however, the computer might not be able to enter hibernation mode. If this happ power off the computer.

1Power off your computer, or enter hibernation mode.

2	Close	the	LCD and turn the computer over.
3	Slide	the	battery pack1 ; latchthen slide the battery
	pack toward the front of the computer and remove
	battery		pack.
