4. When the desired repeat playback mode is selected, press the
remote control ENTER button to activate the selected repeat
playback mode.
Select OFF to deactivate repeat playback. (This option is only
available if repeat playback was activated when the REPEAT
button was pressed.)
To deactivate repeat playback:
Press the remote control CLEAR button to activate playback
from the current playback time.
Press the STOP button to activate stop or resume mode.

A-B REPEAT PLAYBACK

Use the remote control A-B button to activate A-B repeat playback
from a user-defined start time (point A) to a user-defined end time
(point B). A-B repeat playback can be configured to repeat play-
back of the user-defined playback loop continuously.
Note:
• A-B repeat playback is not available for Video CDs and SVCDs that
include PBC menus.
For DVD-Vs, the start and end points of the loop must be in the same
title/group.
To activate A-B repeat playback when a disc is playing:
1. Press the A-B button at the desired start time (point A).
2. Press the A-B button again at the desired end time (point B).
The disc immediately begins playback at the selected point A
and continues onto the selected point B and loops continu-
ously.
To deactivate A-B repeat playback:
Press the A-B button or the remote control CLEAR button to
end the playback loop. In some cases, the A-B button must be
pressed twice in succession to deactivate A-B repeat playback.
Press the STOP button to activate stop or resume mode.
A-B repeat playback is automatically deactivated when:
Random or repeat playback is activated
The remote control CLEAR, STOP, PREV, NEXT, RANDOM, or
REPEAT button is pressed.

PROGRAM MODE

Program mode allows you to create a program list for the loaded
disc. Use the remote control PROGRAM button to activate program
mode. When a program list has been created, program mode also
activates program playback. See the “Program List Requirements
Table” on page 4-23 which indicates the program playback modes
available for each disc format.
A program list is a user-defined playback order of titles, chapters,
groups, or tracks. A program list can contain up to 20 tracks.
