The remote control AUDIO button cannot be used to select an audio track.

1.Make sure a DVD-V, Video CD, or MP3 recorded with two or more audio tracks is loaded. Audio track selection is not available for other disc formats or for discs recorded with one audio track.

2.Activate playback. Audio track selection is not available unless playback is activated.

3.The disc menu might allow selection of the desired audio track. See “AUDIO TRACKS” on page 4-5 for more information.

The remote control SUBTITLE button cannot be used to select a subtitle language.

1.Make sure a DVD-V recorded with subtitles is loaded. Subtitle language selection is not available for other disc formats or for discs that are not recorded with subtitles.

2.Activate playback. Subtitle language selection is not available unless playback is activated.

3.The disc menu might not allow selection of the desired subtitle language.

The remote control ANGLE button cannot be used to select a camera angle.

1.Make sure playback of a DVD-V scene recorded from multiple camera angles is activated. Camera angle selection is not available for other disc formats or for DVD-V scenes recorded from one camera angle. In addition, camera angle selection is not avail- able unless playback is activated.

2.The disc menu may not allow selection of the desired camera angle.

A program list cannot be created.

1.Make sure the selected program list is available for the loaded disc. The table on page 4-11 indicates the program lists available for each disc format.

2.If a Video CD or SVCD is loaded, activate stop or resume mode. Video CD and SVCD program lists cannot be created when playback or pause mode is activated.

Program playback is in progress, and playback of a non-pro- grammed chapter or track begins.

When playback of a program chapter or program track list is activated, playback of a non-programmed chapter or track might activate while the RT-20 searches for the next programmed chapter or track.

Search mode will not activate.

1.Make sure the search mode is compatible with the loaded disc.

2.Close the disc menu. Some search modes might not activate when the disc menu is open on the on-screen display.

Some frames are skipped during frame-by-frame playback

1.Make sure frame-by-frame playback is available for the loaded disc. The table on page 4-11 indicates the playback modes available for each disc format.
