57 Configuration change, some held jobs were not restored

Since the time the jobs were stored on the printer hard disk, something changed in the printer to invalidate the held jobs. Possible changes include:

The printer firmware was updated.

Paper input, output, or duplex options needed for the print job were removed.

The print job was created using data from a device in the USB port, and the device is no longer in the port.

The printer hard disk contains jobs that were stored while installed in a different printer model.

Press the up or down arrow button until 57 Configuration change, some held jobs were not restoredContinue appears, and then press 58 Too many disks installed to clear the message.

58 Too many disks installed

1Turn the printer off.

2Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

3Remove the extra disks.

4Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet.

5Turn the printer back on.

58 Too many flash options installed

Too many optional flash memory cards or too many optional firmware cards are installed on the printer. Try one or more of the following:

Press the up or down arrow button until 58 Too many flash options installedContinue appears, and then press 61 Defective disk to clear the message and continue printing.

Remove extra flash options:

1Turn the printer off.

2Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

3Remove extra flash options.

4Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet.

5Turn the printer back on.

Install a different hard disk before performing any operations that require a hard disk.
