4Reattach the jam clearance cover until it clicks into place.

5Close the printer.

6Touch OK or press , depending on your printer model.

Check the paper tray

Notes:

•For select models that support a second tray, make sure you also check the second tray.

•If the paper tray was removed, then make sure you do not replace the tray until the jam is cleared.

1Pull the tray completely out of the printer.

2Firmly grasp the paper on both sides, and then gently pull it out.

Note: Make sure all paper fragments are removed.
