Security Configuration
In this section, you can configure 802.1x, IP, and port security.

802.1X Configuration

802.1x is an IEEE authentication specification that allows a client to connect to a wireless
access point or wired switch but prevents the client from gaining access to the Internet
until it provides authority, like a user name and password that are verified by a separate
server.

System Configuration

After enabling the IEEE 802.1X function, you can configure the parameters of this
function.
1. IEEE 802.1x Protocol: .enable or disable 802.1x proto col.
2. Radius Server IP: set the Radius Server IP address.
3. Server Port: set the UDP destination port for authentication requests to the specified
Radius Server.
4. Accounting Port: set the UDP destination port for accounting reque sts to the
specified Radius Server.
5. Shared Key: set an encryption key for using during authe ntication sessions with the
specified radius server. This key must match the encryption key used on the Radius
Server.
6. NAS, Identifier: set the identifier for the radius client.
